Overview
Opprør is a leaders-only retreat hosted in The Lofoten Islands, a remote archipelago above the Norwegian Arctic line and a special place for us at The Rebellion. This experience will have you explore and evaluate core values, personal and professional legacy, as well as push your comfort zone in ways that will enable your true potential as a leader. Opprør is a once-in-a-lifetime week-long experience for a limited group of adventurous leaders willing to better themselves in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
What to Expect:
The daily goal is for you, as an attendee, to challenge yourself on different levels. Three main themes will guide all activities during this retreat: Expand Your Potential, Perform Under Pressure, and Empower Your Team. You can look forward to a wide range of outdoor activities immersed in some of the most amazing landscapes while entrenching yourself with local entrepreneurs in this Arctic paradise.
Led by inspirational renowned facilitators and World Champion athletes, the 5 days you will share with The Rebellion will provide you with the support and roadmap to become a more impactful leader in your organization. One with a clearer purpose, higher potential, and more aligned with yourself.

A perspective shifting retreat
This Transformative Immersive Experience is ideal for leadership groups, forums, peer-to-peer organizations, and small groups of decision-makers. No previous experience in any of the activities is required, just a willingness to push yourself amongst peers.

FAQs & Must Knows
Is a deposit required?
Yes, the payment schedule is as follows:
50% of the total cost is required to be paid 60 days before experience start date.
The total cost is required to be covered by 30 days before experience start date.
Are the Experiences sponsored by any third party?
We don't accept sponsorships and soft-dollar collaborations at any Rebellion Experiences' TIEs. The TIEs are designed without conflicts of interest or bias. We might in some cases collaborate with facilitators that fit into our curriculum to enhance the Experience.
What physical activity can be expected at the Experience?
During Opprør some activities include some level of physical activity. Kayaking, Hiking, and Cycling (no experience needed) are part of this TIE's curriculum. Alternative options are available for those who prefer less physical sessions.
Can anyone register?
As with all Experiences, there is a very limited number of attendees, and all applications must be accepted and approved. Remember, The Rebellion is first and foremost an exclusive community, and attending a TIE is the first step in becoming a member of the community.
Who can apply?
The Rebellion Experiences are open to all business and community leaders, founders, and organizational decision-makers. If you fall into any of those categories, we encourage you to apply for the Experience. It will be one you will remember for a long time.
What happens if the Experience gets canceled/postponed?
Due to the nature of these experiences, in some unforeseen circumstances, The Rebellion might decide to postpone or cancel a TIE/Experience. As an attendee, you agree to our cancellation policy and refund policy. Our goal is for every paid attendee to have options in case of a canceled or postponed TIE.
Is there a minimum attendance policy?
Every Experience has a minimum required number of attendees. Although, we don't ever want or intend to cancel or postpone a TIE due to low registration, having a minimum attendance is crucial for the experience to meet our standards. The Rebellion confirms the occurrence of every TIE 30 days before the start of the experience with all paid attendees. We encourage all Rebels attending to plan accordingly. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for those traveling to the experience.
Registration Policies
Before applying to register your team, please read our registration policy carefully as it contains important information regarding your participation in the experience. By registering for a Rebellion Experience, you acknowledge that your registration is subject to approval by The Rebellion Experiences, and that once approved, there are no refunds.
Travel Insurance
All attendees must obtain travel insurance before arrival to any Rebellion Experience. The attendee is responsible for taking out the necessary insurance. The Rebellion Experiences recommends that everyone considers obtaining a cancellation insurance in case of force majeure cancellations. The Rebellion can suggest options for insurance to all registered attendees.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all attendees. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated, whether in person or in any online format hosted by The Rebellion Experiences.
